Getting started
What is Acurrate?
Acurrate helps online stores find creators to work with, and shows what each one is likely to make your store before you sign anything. You then run the deal in the same place: outreach, agreements, a campaign plan and creator payouts.
Do I need Shopify?
No. Type five numbers in and it works the same day. On Shopify they fill in with one click — conversion rate, average order value, returning customer rate and your customers’ geography — and the geography narrows discovery to creators based in the countries your customers actually buy from. Shopify saves you the typing; it is not the price of entry.
How do I start on Shopify?
Install Acurrate from the Shopify App Store and approve the connection. We read your conversion rate, average order value, returning-customer rate, shipping cost per order, where your customers are, and your cost of goods from each product’s “Cost per item” in Shopify. If you have not filled that in, you type your cost of goods once. You get a 14-day free trial, then $99/month billed through your Shopify account.
What numbers do I need to give you?
Five: your conversion rate, average order value, returning-customer rate, cost of goods and shipping cost per order. On Shopify, all five fill in for you; cost of goods comes from each product’s “Cost per item”, so if that is blank you type it once. These are what turn a creator’s views into a forecast for your store rather than an industry average.
Finding creators
How do I find creators?
Open Discovery. It lists Instagram, TikTok and YouTube creators ranked for your store by AcuScore. Filter by platform, country and more, open any creator to see the views their recent posts get and what they could make your store, then add the ones you like to a list.
What is AcuScore, in one line?
AcuScore combines fit for your brand with creator quality. Once you model a deal, it also reflects profitability at your fee. You can inspect the score breakdown and the forecast assumptions before making an offer.
Can I use it on creators I already know?
Yes. Paste a handle, or drop in a screenshot of a media kit, and you get the same forecast against your own store’s numbers.
How does screenshot import work?
Upload a screenshot of a creator’s Instagram Insights, or their media kit as an image or PDF. We read the followers, views and link clicks from it and fill them in for you to check. It helps when a creator sends you numbers that are not public.
Which platforms do you cover?
Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. Discovery covers all three. For a creator on any other platform, enter their numbers by hand or from a screenshot and the forecast works the same way.
Forecasts and deals
How do you work out what a creator is worth to my store?
We start from the views a creator’s recent posts actually get, not their follower count. Then we apply your numbers: conversion rate, average order value, returning-customer rate, cost of goods, shipping, and the discount code you give the creator. Each step is shown, so you can follow the arithmetic.
What do Target price and Safe to pay mean?
Target price is the most you can pay a creator and still hit your profit goal. Safe to pay is the most you can pay before the deal loses money. Use them as your ceiling when you negotiate.
Are the forecasts guaranteed?
No. They are estimates built from a creator’s recent results and your store’s numbers, and real campaigns vary. What you get is a forecast whose every input you can see and change, instead of a follower count and a guess.
Can I work with creators who charge in other currencies?
Yes. Creator fees can be in US dollars, euros, pounds, Canadian dollars or Australian dollars, converted to your store’s currency at a dated exchange rate. Your Acurrate subscription is billed in US dollars.
Running campaigns
What can Autopilot do for me?
Autopilot helps find creators, assess a roster and draft outreach. When you ask, it can organise campaign lists, calendar reminders and gifting offers. You send emails yourself and handle agreements, content review and payments in the platform. It does not sign contracts or spend money for you.
I’m one person running the whole store. Is this too much tool?
You can use Autopilot to prepare a shortlist and outreach drafts, then keep the quote, model, agreement and results together as you run each collaboration. You can also work directly in every screen. Your website supplies the starting brand context, and you can add your business figures when ready.
How does gifting work?
Build a lookbook from your Shopify products, with a price limit, and send it to one creator or many. Each creator gets their own link, needs no account, and picks one piece within their limit; anything sold out or over their limit is left out for you. Their pick and address become a $0 draft order in your Shopify store for you to review and ship. A gift never obliges a post: you see who posts, and can turn the best into paid deals.
Do I need Shopify for gifting?
For lookbooks, yes: the pieces come from your Shopify catalogue and each pick becomes a draft order there. Without Shopify you can still send a gift link that collects the creator’s address, and ship the product yourself.
Can I pay creators through Acurrate?
Yes, for flat-fee deals. If you pay a creator a share of sales instead, Acurrate shows what you owe each month and you pay it outside the app for now.
Can I invite my team?
Yes. The plan includes two seats: you and one teammate. Invite people from Settings, under Team Management, as an editor or a viewer. Extra seats are $29 a month each.
Pricing
How much does Acurrate cost?
Pro is $99/month after a 14-day free trial, or $999 a year on the website. It covers one store, two seats and the full creator workflow, without credits or a research usage meter; extra seats are $29 a month each. Agency is $399/month or $3,990/year for five client stores and five seats, with no free trial. Prices are in US dollars.
Is there a free version on Shopify?
Yes. Installing from the Shopify App Store starts a 14-day free trial of the full product. Shopify asks you to approve $99/month, and nothing is charged until the 14 days end.
Do you take a cut of the deals?
No. Pro is $99 a month after the fourteen free days for one store and two seats. We never take a percentage of what you pay a creator, and there is no fee on the payment.
What happens when the 14 days are up?
You decide, and nothing decides for you. There is no card on file during the trial, so nothing can charge automatically — when it ends you either start paying or you stop, and neither takes a phone call. There is no annual lock-in to escape and no notice period to remember.
Security and privacy
How is my data protected?
Your data is stored encrypted in our database, run by Supabase in the United States, with encrypted backups. Row-level security means only your store’s team can read your store’s data. You can also turn on two-factor sign-in from your profile.
Who can see my data?
You and the teammates you invite. Other merchants cannot see it, and we do not sell your data or share it for anyone else’s marketing. Our privacy policy lists the services that process it on our behalf.
How do I get a copy of my data, or delete it?
Email support@acurrate.com and we will send you a copy or delete it. On Shopify, uninstalling the app deletes your customers’ data within 48 hours. The privacy policy covers the detail, including your rights under UK GDPR.
Do you store my password?
Not ourselves. Email sign-in is handled by Supabase Auth, which keeps only a scrambled (hashed) version, never the password itself. If you choose Continue with Google, we hold no password for you at all.
About
Why was Acurrate built?
Our founder, Nick, used to work out creator deals for a skincare brand by hand: research in spreadsheets, fees in several currencies, stats typed in from dozens of screenshots, and still no clear answer to whether a creator would pay for themselves. Acurrate does that work for you, against your own store’s numbers.
