From Acurrate's creator catalogue: individual creator accounts on Instagram and TikTok with at least 1,000 followers, as of 2026-10-21, refreshed monthly. A size band with fewer than 20 creators is left out. “Typical post reaches” is the median, across creators, of the views their recent posts get; the share reached divides that by the median follower count. What works

What works for food and drink brands

Put the product in a recipe

A creator who cooks with your sauce or pours your drink sells more than one who holds the bottle. Ask for a real use.

Match the diet and the occasion

Vegan, high-protein, family dinners or cocktails: pick creators whose cooking matches who eats your product.

Mind food labelling rules

Nutrition and health claims are regulated. Give creators the claims you can stand behind and check the post first.

Judge the views, not the followers

Price and choose on the views recent posts get. The table above shows the typical reach of food creators by size.

Ship with care

Fresh, frozen and glass items cost more to send. Count shipping in what a gift or a deal costs you.

Plan for repeat orders

Food is bought again. Include the repeat orders a new customer brings when you work out what a creator is worth.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How do I find food influencers for my brand?

Start from who eats your product and where they live. Then look for creators in those countries whose recipes or meals fit your product, and check the views their recent posts get. Acurrate does the search and forecasts each creator on your store’s numbers.

How much do food influencers charge?

It varies widely. On TikTok, where creators publish their rates, the median ask we measured was $100 a post for 10,000 to 50,000 followers and $250 for 100,000 to 500,000, across all niches. Pay no more than what the post is likely to earn you after product, shipping and the discount code.

Should food brands gift products or pay influencers?

Both, in order. Gifting to many smaller food creators shows you whose audience buys; paid deals with those creators are where the budget earns the most.

Can an agency run this for several clients?

Yes. Agency is $399 a month for 5 client brands or $599 for 10, each with its own creators, forecasts and payments, and your agency’s logo on the workspace, set up with our team. Agency has no free trial; you can try Pro free on one brand first.

Does Acurrate work with Shopify?

Yes. Install it from the Shopify App Store and it reads your conversion rate, order value, shipping cost and where your customers are. It works without Shopify too: type the numbers in. There is a 14-day free trial, then $99 a month.
